International Anti Torture Day marked

NHRC marked 15th International Anti Torture Day amidst a function.  Speaking as the chief guest Deputy Prime Minister Bijay Kumar Gachhadar expressed his solidarity to ending torture.

The function was organized in collaboration with National Women’s Commission, National Dalit Commission, Nepal Police (Human Rights Cell) and other human rights organizations including Advocacy Forum, CWIN Nepal, CVICT, CAHURAST, INSEC, INHURED International, FOHRID, HURON, HURFON, WOREC, PPR Nepal. This year's  slogan  is Criminalize the Torture, End Impunity.
